Michèle Mouton looks back on a 50-year motorsport career, which was crowned with a 2nd place in the World Rally Championship (WRC) in 1982. In recent years, she was an FIA safety officer for WRC Rallies. The Frenchwoman has now given up this office and is slowly retiring.
Michèle Mouton
Michele Mouton won the world vice-championship title together with her Italian co-driver Fabrizia Pons in 1982 and took four individual victories in the World Rally Championship with the Group B Audi Quattro: San Remo 1981 and 1982 Portugal, Acropolis and Brazil.
Michèle Mouton through Dieter Schöni’s lens
Legendentreff co-founder Dieter Schöni followed the career of the southern Frenchwoman as a photojournalist up close and twice had the rare opportunity to experience the steering wheel acrobat on the «hot seat» at work with the Audi factory driver in the Rallye Quattro as a co-driver during test drives.
From this time also stems the opportunity to present Michèle Mouton at our 4th Legendentreff.
Porsche Zentrum Aargau is proud and delighted to join forces with the organizers Marc and Dieter Schöni of Legendentreff.ch to host another charitable event in support of the Synapsis Foundation for Dementia Research.
